Oscar Rossignoli

Honduran born, pianist and composer Oscar Rossignoli, settled in New Orleans LA in 2014 and has since taken his place as first-call freelance, pianist in the city. With a strong foundation in classical piano, Oscar was also drawn, as a young musician, to the rhythms and fearless, improvisation of the Latin Jazz masters, as well to the sweeping contribution of the icons, of American jazz. Add to this, the imprints of Professor Longhair and James Booker, Oscar is equally at home in a jazz, classical, Afro Caribbean, gospel, or classical setting. Artists he continues to perform with include, John Boutte, Herlin Riley, Jason Marsalis, Nicholas Payton, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Amina Scott, to name a few. Now, stepping out as leader of the Oscar Rossignoli Trio, he brings these diverse threads together with own original repertoire. Look for, Mar Adentro the new album (Euclid Jazz), early fall of 2026.
