That is a genuinely metropolitan run of bookings, in a town of this size, in a single month.

What makes The ELM matter isn't just the capacity — it's the range. In one August the room swings from a revered indie-folk auteur to a jam-scene electronic institution to a surf-rock band to '90s alt-rock survivors. That's not a niche room chasing one crowd; it's a full-service mid-size hall betting that Bozeman is big enough and hungry enough to fill 1,100 seats across wildly different genres, week after week. Increasingly, it's right. The venue's broader 2026 slate has also carried names like Fitz and the Tantrums, Deer Tick, and Shovels & Rope through the same doors.
