Most cities let their old banks rot into check-cashing joints or vape shops. Daytona turned one into the loudest room downtown. The Bank & Blues Club at 701 Main Street lives inside an authentic bank building from the early 1920s — a real one, with the civic bones to prove it — now repurposed as what the listings cheerfully call a "hard-rockin' nightclub" trafficking in live blues and rock.

That means it's built for volume in both senses — a room that can absorb a leather-clad rally crowd and a Tuesday-night blues trio with equal ease. It's a short walk from the Ocean Center and Peabody Auditorium, which makes it a natural nightcap when the big room lets out.
Why it matters for the scene: this is one of the few Daytona rooms flying the flag for guitar-forward original and blues music year-round, not just tribute season.
