It is a food festival, yes — part of the Live From OBX series — but the reason it earns a music-blog dateline is that the organizers understood the assignment and put a real band on the bill.
That band is Hot Sauce & The Deloreans, which is either the best or the second-best name at any wing festival, and whose job on August 1 is to keep a few thousand people moving between the fun zone, the food trucks, and the twelve-plus vendor tents without the day sagging into a line-standing exercise.
