On July 17 the Oakland-born collective brings its horn-fueled, second-line-adjacent brand of American music to Britt Pavilion in Jacksonville — a room that could not be better suited to a band whose entire ethos is "get everyone off the bench."

The Honeydrops are a known quantity to the Britt lawn; this is a band that treats the region as a repeat stop rather than a routing accident, and they've been circling the valley all season — a separate 2026 date at the Ashland Armory put them in front of an indoor crowd too. What they do live is the pitch: front man Lech Wierzynski often abandons the microphone entirely to sing acoustic in the middle of the crowd, the horns follow, and a seated amphitheater turns into a standing one within about ninety seconds. On a Britt hillside, with the ponderosas holding the sound and the sun going down behind the Siskiyous, that trick lands especially hard.
