There is a specific kind of showoff move available only to a venue that puts a stage on a hill above a lake, and Point of the Bluff Vineyards makes it every single weekend. The Hammondsport amphitheater's 2026 summer series doesn't just book good bands; it books them in front of a view that would be illegal to charge for, and July is when the schedule tightens into a genuine can't-miss stretch.
The marquee weekend arrives fast. Band of Horses and Dinosaur Jr. share the Vineyard Stage on July 12 — a pairing of widescreen Southern indie-rock and J Mascis's wall of amp fuzz that will test whether Keuka's far shore can absorb that many decibels. Then the series turns roots-forward: The Infamous Stringdusters with special guest Driftwood on July 17, Little River Band on July 18, and Punch Brothers — Chris Thile's genre-melting acoustic five-piece — on July 19.
